Working with us

Kindred Spirits operates with the help of dedicated friends and family. The Foundation welcomes new friends interested in joining the Foundation’s Working Group who:

  • Believe in and support the philosophy and principals of Kindred Spirits Foundation
  • Express an interest in becoming more involved in the Foundation
  • Have skills to contribute to a current project

Membership is by invitation from a Trustee or introduction by another Working Group member for specific projects and activities, and may be ongoing or for a shorter term as determined by a specific project. For more details go to Kindred Spirits Structure. The role of a Working Group member is to:

  • Actively participant in the development and implementation of specific Kindred Spirits Foundation projects and activities
  • Present potential projects and activities that support KSF’s philosophy to the Trustees where applicable
  • Expand the awareness of KSF through networks and colleagues
  • Co-opt the skills and knowledge of colleagues for specific projects when required

DONATIONS

Kindred Spirits Foundation is a Private Ancillary Fund (PAF). Being privately run we are able to accept one-off and regular donations from the close friends and associates of the Trustees and Founder. We are not permitted, as a PAF, to solicit donations from the general public. We are endorsed by the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) and will issue tax deductible receipts to each donor, upon receipt. We operate on a Not for Profit basis. If you are a friend or associate of the Trustees or Founder and would like to make a donation, please contact us to discuss your planned donation. We and the communities we support genuinely appreciate your interest and contribution.
